Tank Level and Wastewater

August 29, 2019

Liquid-level sensors provide analysis of tank contents, helping measure, monitor, and control the liquids in tanks. Depending on the type of tank and its use, there are a variety of methods to monitor tanks from both inside and outside the vessel. Capacitance liquid-level sensors provide intensely accurate measurements for many industries, including:

  • Food
  • Dairy
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Semiconductors
  • Textiles
  • Chemical manufacturers
  • Petrochemicals
  • Agricultural chemicals

Pressure sensors help drive the water and wastewater processing industry. Pump stations and water-processing plants require meticulous monitoring of water in all aspects of their processes. Measuring clean water supply, flow, or tank level requires a dependable solution. In addition to monitoring multipoint levels continuously, liquid-level sensors can measure pressure and confirm processes for pump control, reducing the need for in-person monitoring. Liquid-level sensors play a role in:

  • Effluent tanks for wastewater
  • Distribution tanks for clean water
  • Pump stations for irrigation systems
  • Chemical feeds
  • Mining treatments
