Boxborough, MA -Setra Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of sensing devices, introduces its next generation Model SRH Humidity Transmitter Series for HVAC/Building automation systems and other relative humidity monitoring applications. The Model SRH humidity transmitters are now available with optional passive or active temperature sensing.
Humidity transmitters equipped with passive temperature are available with direct connect 10k Thermister or 1000 ohm RTD, while active temperature versions offer an analog output with jumper selectable Tspan ranges of 40°, 50°C , and 60°C.
The product line is designed to measure relative humidity in a room, duct or outside and is available in accuracies of ±2%, ±3%, and ±5%. The SRH Series features a replaceable sensor tip that ensures an accurate, calibrated, and cost effective humidity control system.
Setra’s humidity transmitter family consists of a wall display, duct mount, and outside air unit. All models provide excellent reliability via a unique and established ASIC that is also used in Setra pressure transducers. Also, Setra’s robust, proven capacitive sensor technology is capable of full-scale 0 to 100% RH measurement.
The field-replaceable sensor tips are easily removed in all three models, allowing the end user to replace the sensors on-site. This essentially eliminates time consuming and costly factory calibration, while reducing downtime during service intervals. Additionally, the duct mount probe is easily accessed by removing the front cover, pulling out the sensor board assembly, and replacing the sensor tip. This further contributes to a more user-friendly, lower cost product line that is focused on customer needs and ease of use.
