Boxborough, Mass. –Setra Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer and designer of pressure measurement instrumentation, introduces the Model SRCM Room Pressure Monitor. The SRCM is ideal for a wide variety of applications including pharmaceutical, hospital (operating and airborne infection isolation rooms), semiconductor, research laboratories, animal resource facilities, and cleanrooms requiring stringent room pressure monitoring.

The all inclusive SRCM is flush mountable and mounts in an off-the-shelf electrical gang box. The SRCM features a standard on-board sensor and is capable of remote sensor monitoring..  It features a high resolution TFT color touch screen display, allowing fingertip access to menus that guide the user through room setup, room identification and status, security and calibration.  The secure, password enabled SRCM also features SPDT relay output for remote signaling and audible alarming of room pressure status to alert personnel.

The CE Compliant SRCM is well suited to monitor positive, negative or neutral air pressures per CDC guidelines. The SRCM room pressure monitor combines Setra’s proven and patented, very low capacitance sensing technology with the latest in electronics, measuring and displaying highly accurate pressure readings. True differential pressure is measured and displayed with configurable resolution to 0.0001 inches of water column.
