SETRA SYSTEMS INTRODUCES THE NEW C290 FLUSH DIAPHRAGM PRESSURE TRANSMITTER
Setra Systems, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of precision pressure sensing devices, introduces the new C290 pressure transmitter. The flush diaphragm Model C290 is now equipped with a 1/2" NPT conduit fitting and cable strain relief allowing for conduit piping to the unit. For non-conduit installations, the C290 will withstand washdown environments. Setra's highly accurate transmitter measures pressure ranges from a low 0-1 psig F.S. up to a 0-1000 psig F.S., making it ideal for a number of sanitary applications.Packaged in a welded stainless steel housing, the C290 provides exceptional insensitivity to clamping effects, vibration, thermal shock and other environmental extremes. Thermal shock, in particular, does not affect the performance of the C290, which will withstand the low to high temperature extremes and subsequent vacuum pressures that result from clean-in-place (CIP) procedures.
Setra's Model C290 complies with all 3-A sanitary standards and is intended for low to high pressure measurements of gases or liquids in sanitary applications, including food processing, dairy and beverage processing, pharmaceutical processing, liquid level control and sanitary pipelines.
