SETRA SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD-MOUNTABLE PRESSURE TRANSDUCER

Setra Systems, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of pressure and acceleration sensing devices, has announced its new Model 210 series of board-mountable pressure transducers. The Model 210 series, designed for easy integration into OEM systems, uses Setra's patented variable capacitance sensing technology. It features advanced signal conditioning, a high-level output, excellent RFI immunity, and rugged construction. The Model 210 comes fully packaged, and is designed for assembly onto printed circuit boards, making it ideal for analytical, measurement and control applications.

With an accuracy of 1% (0.5% and .25% are optional), thermal performance of 2% FS/100°F zero (1.5% span), and excitation of 11 VDC to 18 VDC with 5 VDC output (other excitations and outputs available), the Model 210 offers excellent performance in a convenient package, overcoming the disadvantages of micro-machined silicon sensors. For further flexibility, the transducer also includes onboard zero offset adjustments, configurations with all stainless steel wetted parts, and a wide range of scale pressure ranges down to 0-2" WC.

Using technology designed for industrial applications, the Model 210 offers either a molded plastic fitting or stainless steel threaded fitting, features a stainless steel sensor, and is compatible with a wide variety of pressure media. In operation, tubing can be connected to the fitting on the transducer.
