Setra Systems introduces the new Model 209 pressure transducer that features durability, high accuracy and low cost. The rugged Model 209 pressure transducer is compact and maintains its accuracy in spite of mechanical shock and vibration, thermal shock, RFI, corrosive media and other extremes common in industrial environments.

Priced and rated for a variety of cost-sensitive OEM applications, Setra's Model 209 pressure transducer maintains an accuracy of ±.25% FS, hysteresis of only 0.1% FS and stability of 0.5% FS/yr. Meeting MIL Standard vibration and shock specifications, Setra's new Model 209 also provides NEMA 4 and IP65 protection by employing a unique, rugged sensing element that eliminates performance problems often associated with strain gages, semiconductors and other measurement techniques.

Setra's new Model 209 pressure transducer is compatible with a wide variety of liquids and gases, and offers unusual flexibility in available configurations and options. The Model 209 is available with pressure ranges of 0-50 to 0-5,000 psig, voltage or 4-20 mA current output, and is available with a variety of electrical connectors.

Priced competitively for OEMs , the compact new Model 209 weighs less than 2.3 oz (65 grams), measures 2.35" end to end, and is 1.62" in diameter. Setra's Model 209 pressure transducer is able to operate over a wide temperature band and the sensor contains no seals or "O" rings.
